Snow and ice management company with over 35 years in business in NE Ohio is looking for a 2nd Shift Preventative Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. This is a great opportunity for a hard-working individual wanting to advance their career with a reputable company.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintaining a fleet of approximately 30 trucks and 60 front-end loaders. Most vehicles are Ford F-250, F-550, and F-750 style.
- Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel and gas trucks, front end-loaders, snow plows, and salt spreaders.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Must be proficient at 12-volt wiring. This is a large part of the job.Understand the basic parameters of hydraulic and air brake systems.Must be available and willing to work in the winter during snow events, including weekends and holidays - weather dependent.Must be willing and able to work overtime when necessary.While most work is conducted in the shop, there must be a willingness to work in outdoor, cold, wet, and dirty conditions when necessary.Desire to be a team player on a growing team.Willingness to learn and embrace continuous improvement.Must be an independent thinker.Must be personable and have good communication ability.Must align with company values and have a great work attitude.Must have a willingness to adapt.Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.Live within 45-minutes of Macedonia, OH (30 minutes preferred).Preferred Skills and Qualifications :
Having your own tools preferred but not required. This is a compensation consideration.Mechanic certifications preferred but not required.Basic welding and torching ability preferred.Have some snow and ice management experience or willingness to learn.Compensation & Benefits :
