Position Summary

The Associate Underwriter at Novatae Risk Group is a critical role within our Wholesale Insurance division, responsible for supporting the underwriting team in assessing, evaluating, and managing risks associated with insurance submissions. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining underwriting standards, analyzing policies, and assisting clients in securing appropriate coverage.

Primary Responsibilities

Risk Assessment :

• Collaborate with underwriters to assess risks associated with insurance submissions, including reviewing underwriting data, loss history, and other relevant information.
• Contribute to the determination of the acceptability of risks and appropriate coverage.

Office work . Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up / sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.
