Tesco Controls’ core business is designing and building process control systems and power solutions for municipalities and industrial clients to keep critical infrastructure operating efficiently. As a full-service Systems Integrator and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) , we design, engineer, manufacture, program, and integrate electrical, power, and process control systems for water / wastewater, transportation, power, and renewable energy facilities. Job Summary :

The candidate shall be responsible for supporting / leading the development, design, and execution of the Engineering scope of the projects. Typical engineering scope includes selecting process instrumentation, designing control panel layouts, creating wiring drawings, designing power distribution and I / O schematics, developing of Bill of Materials, project documentation, and creating detailed designs for Motor Control Centers (MCC), Panelboard, Switchboard, Switchgear, PLC Control Panels, Network & Communications Panels.

Typical engineering responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications and plans, understanding the project scope, and reviewing the project budget, and schedule. The candidate shall be responsible for timely Engineering deliverables meeting the budget and quality expectations. The candidate shall work collaboratively across different functions such as Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and other Tesco departments.

Essential Functions :

• Design complex electrical, controls, and communication equipment and systems to provide automation for water / wastewater industry projects
• Interpret customer specifications and plans and translate them into a defined engineering scope and deliverables.
• Complete all phases of the engineering process to ensure accurate and timely completion of manufacturing drawings.
• Develop detailed engineering documentation including single-line and three-line diagrams, panel elevations, general arrangements, and wiring schematics.
• Lead and mentor engineering and designer teams to convert engineering concepts into working schematics.
• Responsible for Engineering schedule, including the on-time release of equipment specifications, bills of materials, and customer documentation.
• Support the Project Manager to address technical concerns with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide engineering expertise / support during estimation, sales, manufacturing, testing, installation, commissioning, and operations.
• Provide technical direction, serve as a point of contact or business liaison, prepare briefings for senior management and assist in problem resolution specific to the program / project.
• Review Tesco’s design tools, procedures, and processes and ensure engineering deliverables are compliant to design standards.
