Operating Room Assistant

Overview

In the operating room, timeliness, cleanliness, and orderliness are essential. This position floats as needed throughout the Surgical, Interventional, and Imaging Services division.

This is a temporary position estimated duration is six months.

Responsibilities

Support nursing staff as part of the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

Transport blood, specimens, and other materials within Surgical Services.

Perform housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness in operating rooms and surrounding areas.

Stock supplies and maintain overall orderliness of assigned department spaces.

Assist with patient transportation as needed.

Complete additional errands and support tasks as assigned to facilitate smooth departmental operations.

Pay Range

USD $20.07 - USD $27.18 / Hr.
