Overview

Core Charge Nurses provide leadership for nursing staff on their scheduled shifts. They collaborate with Nursing Department Directors, Managers, and Hospital Shift Supervisors to provide the personnel, workplace, and technology resources necessary for the provision of safe, high quality patient and family care. Core Charge Nurses solve problems effectively, communicating and collaborating with all stakeholders. Demonstrates understanding and commitment to the Children's Mercy Lean System and contributes to operational excellence. They maintain clinical expertise by providing direct patient and family care, working with staff on a regularly scheduled basis.

Responsibilities

Oversees daily planning, assessment, and decision making to provide the resources necessary for the provision of safe, high-quality patient and family care in the intermediate care environment (areas providing acute inpatient care or complex outpatient care).

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $36.16 / hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
