Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of 11 premiere facilities across the country owned and operated by Speedway Motorsports, LLC. The entertainment complex annually hosts two NASCAR weekends, one NHRA event, World of Outlaws racing, classic car concours and the Southeast’s largest drive-through holiday light show, among other events.

The Public Relations and Communications fellow will be a vital member of the Charlotte Motor Speedway Communications Team throughout the course of the fellowship.
The fellow will assist in creating public relations plans, writing press releases, helping coordinate PR events and engage with local and national media, along with a variety of motorsports industry stakeholders. This paid fellowship requires the Communications fellow to be on property 25-30 hours each week, with extended hours during event weekends. By applying for this role, you acknowledge that you will be required to work select weekends.

Education
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Preferred majors: Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Sports Management

Work Hours
Fellows must be able to work on-site an average of 25-30 hours per week. Remote work is not available for this fellowship. Extended hours are required on select event weekends.
