A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Process insurance and patient payments for assigned regions, both electronically and manually
Post payment batches, including denials, and balance against daily deposits
Notify management of payment trends, system issues, and workflow enhancement opportunities
Required Qualifications
Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
Billing experience or graduation from a vocational medical billing course is helpful
Knowledge of cash posting regulations and insurance rejection / denial processing
Ability to type efficiently (minimum of 45 words per minute) and operate a computer accurately
Commitment to company values and ability to work well in a team environment
