A company is looking for a Patient Accounts Representative - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
Process insurance and patient payments for assigned regions, both electronically and manually
Post payment batches and balance them against daily deposits within established timeframes
Notify management of payer denial trends and workflow issues
Required Qualifications
Approximately 2+ years of experience with payment posting in a multifacility environment
Billing experience or completion of a vocational medical billing course is helpful
Knowledge of cash posting regulations and insurance rejection / denial processing
Ability to type efficiently (minimum of 45 words per minute) and operate a computer accurately
Commitment to the company's values and ability to work effectively in a team environment
