Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Providence Behavioral Health West is seeking a Child / Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the organization. It provides specialized behavioral health care for adolescents through Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. Our team uses evidence-based approaches like Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and family systems to support high-acuity patients with mood disorders and behavioral challenges.

Position Details :

• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 36 patient-facing hours; limited weekend rotation.
• Clinical Mix :
• Pathways Program (PH / IOP) : Care for 7-8 adolescents (ages 13-17).
• Outpatient : Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
• Consults : ED and pediatric floors at Providence St. Vincent (approx. 2x / week).
• Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and collaboration with therapy teams.
• Call Coverage : 2 weeknights / month; 3 weekends / year.
• Preferred : Interest in consults and eating disorder coverage.
