What You Will Do:

• Perform specific design calculations, cost estimates, and plan preparation
• Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos and specifications on Water Resources and Transportation projects
• Perform tasks or observe projects in the field
• Attend public meetings and have other presentation opportunities
• Oversee the work of Engineering Technicians and Graduate Engineers
• Plan, direct, and coordinate all project activities to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets
• Lead multiple work teams, manage multiple complex projects, identify new projects, formulate project approaches, lead the proposal process, formulate
• Track and meet project budgets and schedules, and market to and secure work from new and existing clients

What You Will Bring:

• 4-8 years of experience in Water Resources or related field
• Our preferred candidate will have their Texas PE or the ability to obtain the Texas PE within 6 months
• Valid driver’s license along with a clean driving record and have the ability to work in a variety of locations
• Experience in XPSWMM, HECRAS, Bentley, AutoCAD, GIS and performing transportation drainage design
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Ability to work in the posted location
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
