Diagnostic Technologist

Job Summary :

• Great working environment located at Upstate Downtown Campus, Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists.
• Practice appropriate radiation safety and protection to assure that patients do not undergo undue radiation exposure.
• Areas include inpatient, outpatient, fluoroscopy, operating room, and emergency department.
• Adult and pediatric care (Golisano Children's Hospital)
• Verify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patient.
• Performs all required quality control procedures.
• Maintains compliance with continuing education requirements.

Work Days :

40 hrs / week; Specific days / hours to be determined. Will be required to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis. Overtime may be required based on departmental needs.
