job purpose : The Data Engineer will play a key role in deliveringfairlifesambition of building a best-in-class Decision Intelligence (DI) ecosystem. This role will support the digital transformation of our enterprise and manufacturing operations translating technical requirements into targeted solutions that fit intofairlifesbroader data frameworkroadmapand architecture. This role will also support AI engineering initiatives that drive operational excellence and automated decision-making across the organization.

responsibilities :

• Design implement and operationalize pipelines to support the data lifecycle of our factory IoT and enterprise usecases
• Support the development and delivery of function-specific data models in Microsoft Fabric thatenablea self-service analytics culture across the enterprise
• Support development and maintenance of resources supporting our factory IoT streaming pipelinemainly inour Ignition and Azure environments
• Partner with manufacturing & enterprise stakeholders to ensure data validity & adoption
• Champion data engineering best practices within the Fabric analytics layer including Spark optimization compute trade-offs and efficient API and file integrations
• Work closely with 3rd party data architects and internal data team to develop a deep understanding of our existing data ecosystem
• Provide training and support the technical development of fellow team members
