Requirements

Required Qualifications:
1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management.
2. Minimum three (3) years of experience in Slot Tech preferred.
3. Strong computer skills and proficiency in using job-related equipment.
4. Familiarity with the setup and programming of slot-related gaming equipment and player tracking systems.
5. Knowledge of regulation 6A requirements and internal control policies.
6. Basic math skills.
7. Extensive knowledge of gaming device technology and proficiency in using computer software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
8. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
9. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical Requirements:
1. Ability to move up to 75 pounds using a hand truck with or without assistance.
2. Stand, walk, and remain on feet for extended periods of time.
3. Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl when accessing or repairing gaming equipment.
4. Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects and tools required for equipment maintenance and repair.
5. Climb ladders or use stairs to access elevated areas and perform maintenance tasks.
6. Use hand and power tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
7. Operate machinery and equipment related to slot machine operations.
8. Possess good vision, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and smoke-filled environment.
10. Ability to hear radio transmission and communicate clearly on the radio.
11. Have manual dexterity necessary to operate small and large hand tools.

Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing the Technical Team in their daily maintenance duties, including the upkeep of all slot equipment and technology. This role also involves actively participating in new game installations, system game setups, and player tracking hardware installations when required. Additionally, this position entails supervising and facilitating the training of the technical team in equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repairs for the mentioned systems.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and
promoting our values.
2. Supervise all slot installations, slot removals, slot relocations, and slot conversions on the slot floor. Participate in major projects when regular labor force is inadequate and perform job functions of the Slot Technician when necessary.
3. Supervise all programming projects, including, but not limited to hardware, firmware and software upgrades and program modifications, as well as all projects associated with slot gaming devices and the slot accounting and Player Tracking System.
4. Ensure strict compliance with current Internal Control Measures set forth by the Graton Gaming
Commission and the Company, as well as local Internal Control Measures as evaluated by the
Property Level Internal Auditor.
5. Maintain the Slot Database in Acres regarding changes, conversions, and updates.
6. Supervise the maintenance of the Slot Department machine hard files to ensure accuracy
and compliance.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of video and slot machines.
8. Good working knowledge of computer functions.
9. Thorough working knowledge of Player Tracking System and progressive systems.
10. Execute storage and maintenance of all equipment, parts, and supplies in the possession of and used by the Slot Technical Department. Coordinate and supervise maintenance of the Slot Technical Department physical plant and slot related storage areas. Maintain a database of all slot equipment and related information.
11. Conduct initial corrective counseling actions for Slot Utility Technicians and maintain applicable and appropriate documentation of such actions. Conduct Slot Technician orientation for new Technicians and training for appropriate Team Members as required. Participate with Management in Team Member job performance evaluations and reviews as appropriate.
12. Maintain familiarity with and ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and closely
monitor Slot Technician activities and practices as a means of providing a safe work environment for Technicians, Guests and Team Members. Ensure that all Slot Technicians are trained, updated about, and properly follow safety procedures.
13. Aware of all upcoming events and promotions.
14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
