Lookingfor a hands-on Scala Developer to work on a Big Data platform,focusing on transaction monitoring, customer activity review, and scenariooptimization. The role involves development, automated testing, DevOps release,and collaboration with global teams to design next-gen financial crime controlsolutions.

KeyResponsibilities :

  • Implement tactical & strategic solutions forbusiness problems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders &technology teams to define requirements and solutions.
  • Perform data analysis fordevelopment and business needs.
  • Develop, test, and deliver high-quality code inScala / Spark.
  • Execute unit testing usingautomated BDD test frameworks.
  • Support UAT and automatedregression testing.
  • Follow MS DevOps standards forautomated release across environments.
  • Work closely with global teams (FCT & NFRT) on collaborative projects.

Requirements

  • 8+ years Java Full Stack experience.
  • 3+ years hands-on Scala / Spark development.
  • Strong SQL (RDBMS / DB2).
  • Experience in HDFS platform development (2+ years).
  • Skilled in code optimization (performance, scalability, configurability).
  • Proficiency in data analysis, profiling,and lineage .
  • Experience in Agile (SCRUM) projects.
  • Knowledge of Actimize ACTONE platform .
  • Experience with Azure Cloud implementations.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks .
  • Big Data certification preferred.
