Job Description
What you will be doing :
Maintain and prioritize a pipeline of IT projects, support requests, and initiativesCommunicate project timelines and status updates to internal stakeholdersLead and develop IT team members, providing performance feedback and training opportunitiesPrepare and manage the department's annual budgetCollaborate with department leaders to identify opportunities for technology to drive efficiency and innovationLead planning and execution of major technology initiatives and capital improvementsWork directly with customers on technology integrationsEvaluate and recommend software, tools, and systems to meet evolving business needsEnsure the reliability, security, and scalability of all hardware, networking, and server systemsManage data backup, retention, and recovery strategiesMaintain secure connectivity and VPN access across company locationsOversee support and enhancement of core systems including Microsoft Dynamics GP and Korber WMSManage custom software development efforts and third-party vendor relationshipsEnsure software is properly licensed, maintained, and aligned with best practicesDeliver business intelligence tools and dashboards to support decision-makingPromote adoption of reporting systems such as Power BITrain users to maximize the value of company systems and analyticsFoster a service-focused culture that prioritizes internal user and customer needsMaintain appropriate staffing to ensure reliable IT support availabilityExperience you will need :
5+ years in IT management or software development leadershipBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredStrong knowledge of project management, system integration, and vendor oversightTechnical skills including MS SQL Server, Microsoft Office, .NET development, and data reportingExperience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, Korber WMS, and Microsoft DevOps a plusExcellent communication, organization, and leadership abilitiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProven ability to train and develop technical teamsResults-oriented approach with a focus on service and business impactOur client asked me to submit 3 great people within the next few days.
