The Strategic Account Executive is responsible for client growth / retention and client satisfaction, renewal of existing contracts and up-selling of appropriate services to clients. The Strategic Account Executive manages ongoing client relationships and day-to-day delivery service for an assigned book of business and serves as a client-centric, client-facing resource and lead point of contact. The Strategic Account Executive represents clients internally as an advocate and coordinates with other functional areas within the company to support the implementation of client benefits, complete projects and address service needs.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary responsibilities include :

• Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of OptumRx solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Acting as outward-facing, dedicated resource for assigned accounts, typically with direct client contact and large or complex accounts
• Management of book of business
• Serving as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters with majority involving app technology
• Secure renewal and upselling programs
• Implement and adhere to client contract / amendments
• Contract terms and negotiations
• Develop new business with existing clients and / or identify areas of improvement to meet yearly goals
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
• Manage ongoing contract relationships and service delivery for assigned book
• Build relationships with clients and partners with an Optum Rx Account Manager for overall and day-to-day service delivery
• Represent client internally and coordinates with other functions to implement client systems, complete projects, and address ongoing service

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $110,200 to $188,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
