Dermatology Physician at Curative summary :

This role offers a flexible dermatology locum tenens position with a focus on both inpatient and outpatient care while supervising residents. The practice is situated in an academic environment and includes comprehensive support staff, allowing for a dedicated surgical / procedural schedule. Candidates are required to be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology with active DEA and BLS certifications.

Flexible Dermatology Locum Tenens Role with Resident Supervision

Highlights

  • Up to $25,500 per month
  • Any state medical license accepted
  • Credentialing timeframe is 4 6 weeks

Practice Setting

  • Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
  • Located in an academic environment with a focus on resident education

    • Full support staff, including APN, RN, LPN, and schedulers

    Schedule

  • Monday Friday

    • No on-call responsibilities

  • Dedicated surgical / procedural focus on Wednesday mornings

    • Procedures and Cases

  • Common cases include skin cancer evaluations, biopsies (shave, punch), and excisions
  • Procedures consist of cryotherapy, destruction of lesions, wide local excision
  • Inpatient dermatology consults as needed

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology (within 5 years)
  • Active DEA and BLS certifications required

    • Complete Travel and Lodging

  • Lodging near the hospital
  • Rental vehicle
