Job Description & Requirements Specialty : CT Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Opportunity : CT Technologist - CT Tech Job Details : Per diem position with no guaranteed hours 2 years of experience required Phillips experience required Travel experience preferred Coordinate and participate in all computerized tomography scanning procedures Set up, monitor, and operate complex computerized equipment for diagnostic purposes Transfer and position patients using accepted safety standards and proper lifting techniques Apply immobilization devices as necessary Obtain patient identification and vital information including allergies and medical history Prepare and inject contrast media intravenously as protocolled by radiologist Create and develop images for permanent patient files Record all studies on magnetic tape for future reference Organize daily patient schedules in cooperation with work-room technician Maintain image quality and perform daily calibration and quality control of equipment Responsible for electronic / digital image capture, storage, transfer, and copy Monitor patients for allergic reactions and assist with emergency medical situations including basic CPR Provide protection to self and patients in accordance with safety standards and regulations Maintain cleanliness of working environment and department inventory levels Assist radiologists and physician specialists in specialized radiological procedures Review and record pertinent patient history and clinical data Maintain registry in accordance with regulatory requirements Skills checklist completed within one year of application preferred Facility : This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive imaging department with advanced computerized tomography equipment and maintains high standards for diagnostic imaging services.
