Development Director

A company is looking for a Director, Development to lead its fundraising and development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive development strategy to diversify revenue streams and deepen donor relationships

Identify and cultivate new funding prospects while managing donor acquisition and stewardship efforts

Oversee CRM implementation and optimize donor data management for strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

10+ years of proven experience in development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector

A degree in Non-profit Management, Business, Communications, Environmental Policy, or a related field

Experience in environmental markets, particularly carbon markets, is preferred

Proven ability to generate leads and manage donor pipelines effectively

Strong grant writing and management skills with a track record of securing institutional funding
