Job Title :

  • Buyer Reports To :           Purchasing Manager Status :     Exempt, Full-Time Position Summary :  The Buyer is responsible for the procurement of goods from various suppliers.

Responsibilities :

  • 1.  Quote customer turnkey, assembly and control inventory. 2.  Process purchase orders and expedite backlogs. 3.  Interface with Quality, Material, Production, Receiving / Shipping, Engineering and Customer Service Departments.

    • Education / Skills :

  • 1.  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering preferred or equivalent education and work experience. 2.  Minimum 7 years in related electronics manufacturing environment. 3.  Strong understanding of military requirements. 4.  Ability to interpret drawings. 5.  Ability to work in fast-pace contract manufacturing environment. 6.  Demonstrated track record of achieving results in a team based and collaborative environment. 7.  Must be comfortable in challenging “status-quo” and able to recommend solutions. 8.  Basic understanding of the International Standards. 9.  Strong analytical skills required.   Powered by JazzHR
