Job Description

• Strong proficiency in core Python (OOP, data structures, error handling, concurrency) and standard libraries.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication / authorization, and integration with third-party services.
• Participate in solution design and architecture discussions, translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code; implement unit / integration tests and contribute to CI / CD pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure reliability, security, and observability.
• Work closely with product, QA, frontend, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle) and good knowledge of SQL; exposure to NoSQL is a plus.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, code review practices, and agile development methods.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI / CD pipelines; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) preferred.
• Good understanding of application security, performance tuning, and monitoring / logging tools.
