Job Full Description

The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Tax Manager for a leading full-service CPA firm. Positions available in Batesville, Columbus, Greensburg, and Indianapolis Indiana offices.

The successful candidate should thrive at delivering excellent client service and have a strong business acumen and proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities include the following :

  • Performs oversight of the day-to-day tax and advisory services while working as a business liaison with clients
  • Oversees tax engagements through reviewing client data, understanding legislative updates and preparing / reviewing client tax returns.
  • Support the Firm's goals and values through all professional communications and strong working relationships
  • Responsible for supervising and training less experienced Staff or Senior Accountants, as well as function as a mentor to entry level Staff and / or Accountants on an informal basis

    • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years accounting supervisory / managerial experience.
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
  • Computer savvy; embrace and learn new technology with ease

    • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CPA Certification preferred, but not required
  • 5+ years' experience of public accounting experience
  • Tax return review (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience
  • QuickBooks expertise
  • Experience with CCH products preferred but not required
