Solid technical accounting knowledge Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience Computer savvy; embrace and learn new technology with ease CPA Certification preferred, but not required 5+ years' experience of public accounting experience Tax return review (1040, 1065, 1120, 990) experience QuickBooks expertise Experience with CCH products preferred but not required
Job Full Description
The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced Tax Manager for a leading full-service CPA firm. Positions available in Batesville, Columbus, Greensburg, and Indianapolis Indiana offices.
The successful candidate should thrive at delivering excellent client service and have a strong business acumen and proven leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities include the following :
- Performs oversight of the day-to-day tax and advisory services while working as a business liaison with clients
- Oversees tax engagements through reviewing client data, understanding legislative updates and preparing / reviewing client tax returns.
- Support the Firm's goals and values through all professional communications and strong working relationships
- Responsible for supervising and training less experienced Staff or Senior Accountants, as well as function as a mentor to entry level Staff and / or Accountants on an informal basis
