Airport Executive Director

Clinton National Airport (LIT) Little Rock AR 72202

Under the general oversight of the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission with direction

provided by the Commission Chair the Executive Director provides leadership supervision

coordination and direction of all activities and staff.

Further the Executive Director is responsible for the overall business operations administration

human resources financial administration public affairs marketing business and air service

development planning engineering construction maintenance safety and security relating to

airport property and facilities. This position develops oversees and participates in planning

goals and objectives for all departments of the Commission including the development and

implementation of the strategic vision and initiatives of the Commission.

Education & Experience :

Bachelors degree in Airport Management Business Administration Public Administration

Engineering or related field is required. Graduate degree in a related discipline is a plus.

At least ten (10) years of previous airport management / operation experience with 4-6

years in a senior executive level role at a commercial service airport is needed.

Must possess an extensive knowledge of principles and practices of modern airport

administration and proven track record of success in economic development initiatives

and expanding Airport facilities and systems.

Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. AAAE or IAP certification and

pilots license are highly desirable.

This is a Full-time Exempt position that normally works Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm but must

be on-call and available to report to work during nights weekends holidays and emergency

events if needed. The salary ranger for this position is $225000 - $275000. Starting bi-weekly

pay rate will be based on previous work experience and education.
