Staff Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented staff accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the company's accounting operations across multiple entities. Responsibilities :

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness for retail, fuel, and franchise restaurant operations.
• Perform comprehensive account reconciliations, including bank statements and merchant processing deposits, and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate reporting of revenue, expenses, and inventory.
• Support the preparation and filing of sales tax, fuel tax, and other compliance-related reports across multiple states.
• Monitor and reconcile fuel inventory, franchise royalties, and vendor payables to ensure proper financial tracking.
• Assist in maintaining fixed asset records for store and restaurant locations.
• Collaborate with auditors by providing required documentation and insights to support audit processes.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial data reporting.
