IT Systems & Network Engineer
A Fort Worth-based private investment firm is seeking a highly technical IT Systems & Network Engineer with strong communication skills to manage and evolve our IT infrastructure. This role blends hands-on systems administration, network engineering, and strategic problem solving, and requires the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
You'll be joining a small, tight-knit team that values initiative, ownership, and creative problem-solving. We're looking for someone who's not just technically sharp, but also eager to contribute to a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Responsibilities include :
- Network & Systems Administration : Design, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN / WAN, VPN, wireless, and Windows-based server environments.
- Automation & Scripting : Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Security & Compliance : Manage endpoint protection, disaster recovery, backups, and access controls.
- Collaboration Tools & Support : Administer email systems, videoconferencing, and media production tools.
- Infrastructure Projects : Lead initiatives involving storage, virtualization, and office / home automation.
- Emerging Technologies : Explore and support the integration of AI tools and services into internal workflows and infrastructure.

Work Schedule & On-Call Rotation
This is a full-time, in-office position based in Fort Worth, requiring a commitment of 50 hours per week. The role includes participation in a rotating On-Call schedule to ensure coverage for critical systems and infrastructure outside of regular business hours. Candidates should be flexible and prepared to respond to urgent issues as needed.
