Position Overview
Were seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate project bids and proposals for both divisions from small repairs to full home remodels. The ideal candidate has hands-on field experience, a sharp eye for detail, and strong communication skills with both clients and crews.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with customers / representatives to understand a projects purpose, scope, and budget
- Work with customers / representatives to create an overall improved project when possible
- Evaluate leads, site photos, and notes to create accurate estimates and proposals
- Perform detailed labor and material takeoffs using company rate sheets and templates
- Collaborate with management to confirm scopes, margins, and pricing accuracy
- Conduct site visits for measurements and condition verification as needed
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding options, expectations, and pricing
- Maintain cost databases and estimating templates in Housecall Pro and Buildxact
- Track accepted estimates, assist with scheduling, and monitor job profitability
