Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilitiesDevelop individualized therapy plans and goals tailored to student needsProvide direct therapy services focusing on articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skillsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support communication goalsUse evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities to promote developmentMonitor progress and adjust plans as necessary for optimal outcomesDocument therapy sessions, progress reports, and other essential information accuratelyManage cases for speech-only studentsParticipate in IEP meetings, offering insights on students' speech and language needsQualifications :
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programValid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language PathologistExperience in a school or pediatric settingStrong proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationStrong problem-solving abilities and attention to detailSIRAS experience is a plusKnowledge of AAC systems and assistive technologies preferredBenefits :
