McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for its Ames GI office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients. Responsibilities include : patient care including rooming, phone calls, MyChart messaging, medication refills and prior authorizations.

Education + Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants

Certification / License + Certification or registration from an approved certifying for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA)

Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers

Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse

Days : Varied

Hours : 8 AM - 5 PM

Experience + Previous clinical nursing experience

Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
