Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Document / Scanning Support Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on digitizing, organizing, and maintaining documents to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate scanning equipment to digitize paper documents.
• Ensure scanned files are clear, complete, and properly formatted.
• Sort and categorize documents according to company filing systems.
• Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems for easy access.
• Verify accuracy of scanned documents against originals and correct errors as needed.
• Upload scanned files to designated databases or shared drives.
• Label and index files for quick retrieval.
• Handle sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure compliance with data protection and retention regulations.
• Assist with shredding or archiving old documents.
• Support other administrative tasks as assigned.

Work Environment

This position operates in a standard office environment with a Monday–Friday schedule. Start times are negotiable between 7 : 00 AM and 8 : 30 AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 / hr.
