Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of commercial / residential HVAC systems utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding and brazing and mechanical layouts.

• Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring and piping diagrams, or engineering specifications, to Install, diagnose and repair units.
• Operates refrigerant recovery equipment, vacuum pumps, charging equipment and service gauges.
• Possess excellent troubleshooting skills to component level.
• Inspects system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications.
• Completion of routine maintenance and operation of HVAC systems and any other related equipment, which contributes to the safe and effective operation of facilities.
• Maintain quality of work, performance and productivity standards.
• Performs repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of commercial HVAC systems
• Records temperature, pressure, and other readings on log sheet at specified intervals.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.

Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair
