Who we are looking for
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join the GlobalLink FX business as a North American member of the GlobalLink FX Sales team. Whilst the successful candidate will be joining a supportive team and will receive training, the role is very much a 'hands on' position and they will be expected to contribute to the success and growth of these products moving forward. The successful candidate will assist the GlobalLink North American sales strategy, develop sales plans and focus on growing and the central limit order book.

The individual must have strong client relationship experience and experience of dealing with client initiatives, as well as managing resolution of any client facing issues.
The individual needs strong analytical skills combined with knowledge of the Foreign Exchange (FX) market and will ideally have worked on FX trading platforms and post trade applications.
The individual must have superb negotiation skills and be adept at managing complex client situations.

What you will be responsible for
Working with the North America team and, where appropriate, the global team to implement and monitor the GlobalLink strategic plan and successfully achieve an assigned revenue budget while contributing to the broader GlobalLink goals and initiatives.
Forge and maintain meaningful relationships with the central limit order book client base, providing them with premier support and feedback.
Establish and execute on the business development plan for existing clients, while ensuring competitive threats are understood and addressed to ensure client retention.
Identify opportunities for client expansion and growth, leveraging existing products and teams within GlobalLink.
Collaborate with other sales teams in GlobalLink to identify cross-selling opportunities, adhere to best practices and ensure coordinated communication is delivered to clients. Maintain effective and productive relationships across the product groups.
Risk Excellence. Operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and make sure that escalation procedures are followed. Be mindful of the risk excellence culture at all times.

Knowledge of market regulations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the sales process including pitching, fee negotiations, legal contracts and on-boarding.
Excellent communicator at all levels with external clients and service providers.
Adept at managing multiple projects / initiatives (strong attention to detail and the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously).
Ability to generate sales leads independently and prioritizes workload effectively.
Prior experience within trading solutions / technology sales.
Great team skills, but must be a self-starter and have ability to work under pressure.
Proven ability to drive new initiatives and ideas forward.
Technical account management skills (FIX / SWIFT / ATDL / HTML5) knowledge desirable.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Degree level
Proven client relationship management skills
Experience of FX markets
Extensive experience in the electronic trading platform space and electronic trading industry preferred
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Salary Range :
$120,000 - $202,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
