CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. What You'll Do :

CoreWeave's Capacity Planning team drives the strategy and execution of compute and storage supply across our rapidly scaling data center network. This team enables CoreWeave's customers to power their workloads efficiently through data-driven forecasting, supply optimization, and partnership with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.

About the Role :

As a CPU Capacity Planner II , you will manage end-to-end CPU capacity planning — from forecasting and modeling demand to coordinating supply and deployment execution. You'll ensure CoreWeave's compute infrastructure scales in lockstep with customer growth, while balancing cost, performance, and operational efficiency. This role offers a chance to shape one of the world's fastest-growing compute infrastructures and directly influence CoreWeave's ability to deliver at scale.

Who You Are :

  • 5–7 years of experience in capacity planning, hardware planning, or supply / demand forecasting — ideally with CPU, server, or semiconductor products.
  • Understanding of CPU architectures and performance metrics (cores, TDP, cache, clock speed) and their impact on data center planning.
  • Skilled in large dataset management and analysis using Excel, SQL, or Python; data visualization experience in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
  • Proven experience coordinating with Data Center Operations on large-scale deployments.
  • Strong analytical skills with scenario-based forecasting and what-if modeling experience.
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure, hyperscale, or data center environments is a strong plus.

Preferred :

  • Experience with CPU SKU planning, silicon lifecycle management, or supplier coordination.
  • Familiarity with compute resource management and planning automation tools.
  • Wondering if you're a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.

  • You love using data to solve infrastructure scalability challenges.
  • You're curious about the relationship between hardware availability and AI performance at scale.
  • You're an expert in forecasting models that support high-impact business decisions.
