Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced special education teacher to support a high school program serving students with behavioral needs. This full-semester contract position starts in early January 2026 and runs through early June 2026. The role requires onsite presence at a high school location in Burnsville, MN.

Responsibilities include working within a site-based high school program that primarily serves students with Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) but operates on a cross-categorical basis. The position demands strong skills in behavior strategies, individualized problem-solving, and effective classroom management tailored to meet diverse student needs. Collaboration with staff and commitment to student progress are essential.

Qualifications :

• Valid Minnesota teaching credential in Special Education, with one or more of the following endorsements preferred :

Autism Spectrum Disorders

Location : Burnsville, MN onsite only

Employment type : Full-semester contract (January 5 June 4, 2026)

Hours : 37.5 hours per week
