Property Field Adjuster

We're excited to offer a talented and customer-focused professional the opportunity to join our team, where you'll handle property damage claims from start to finish including field inspections. Candidates must be based near Detroit, MI area. We're seeking an individual with excellent decision making skills, ability to work under pressure, solid organizational skills, exemplary customer service skills, as well as time management skills to balance various tasks in a standard work day.

• Handle property field claims from First Notice of Loss to conclusion, including investigation, documentation, coverage analysis, estimation development and subrogation/salvage assessment.
• Provide guidance and support to policyholders throughout the claims process, with prompt communication and excellent attention to detail.
• Conduct field-based inspections to determine the extent of the loss and prepare detailed estimates and documentation to support insurance claims.
• Establish relationships with producing agencies.
• Participation in catastrophe duty as needed. CAT duty can be throughout the United States and can last up to 4 weeks.

Qualifications:

• Previous property claims experience.
• Ability to scope, diagram and estimate damages.
• Mobile home and Dwelling construction knowledge preferred.
• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work/industry experience.
• A clean driving record and a valid driver's license are required.
• Proficiency in Symbility, Xactimate or similar estimating platform experience
• Industry training, coursework, certifications are preferred. (AIC, CPCU, SCLA)
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, set-up, ascend and descend ladders in excess of 40 pounds.
• This is a field position and requires the candidate to be located in or near Detroit, Michigan.

The salary range for this role in Michigan is between $55,000 and $80,000 annually plus bonus and benefits mentioned above.
