We?re seeking a compassionate and clinically skilled
Physician Assistant
with experience or strong interest in
psychiatric and behavioral health care . This role is ideal for a provider who values a
collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment environment
and wants to make a meaningful impact on patients? mental health and overall well-being.
You?ll work closely with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and therapists to support a range of mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and related behavioral health concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits under physician supervision.
Diagnose and manage mental health conditions in alignment with current best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications (within scope and under supervision).
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment as needed, and provide patient education.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EHR system.
Participate in care coordination and interdisciplinary case consultations.
Qualifications
Current and valid
California PA license
in good standing.
DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start).
Psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred (outpatient setting a plus).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with patients.
Team-oriented, proactive, and passionate about advancing mental health care.
