Airsys a growing manufacturing plant in Greer, SC is now hiring for a Quality Inspector

M-TH 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30PM, 4 days a week!

Responsibilities :

• Incoming Inspection (IQC) :
• Perform inspections on materials based on regulations and technical requirements.
• Conduct sample identification and control non-conforming products.
• Collect, record, and analyze quality data, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Track and verify Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Handle information on defective parts.
• Process Inspection (PQC) and Outgoing Inspection (OQC) :
• Conduct inspections at different production stages, prevent defective products from progressing.
• Ensure compliance with technical and process documents and promote self-checking.
• Propose corrective and preventive measures, track their implementation.
• Conduct sampling inspections, supervise equipment maintenance and calibration.
• Control non-conforming products, notify relevant personnel, and ensure follow-up actions.
• Collect, record, and analyze quality data, and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Quantitative Inspection :
• Supervise operational management systems for measuring instruments.
• Conduct calibration, verification, and maintenance of measuring instruments.
• Manage the purchase, receiving inspection, and scrapping of instruments.
• Coordinate with calibration organizations and budget measurement costs.
• Perform audits related to metrology management.
• Supervise operating procedures for measuring instruments.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
