Completes all regular standard preventive maintenance and cleaning.

Job Description

Responsible for performing a wide range of facilities maintenance and janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness safety and functionality of building interiors exteriors and surrounding grounds.

Key responsibilities include :

• Conducting inspections of facilities and exterior spaces
• Performing general janitorial duties in buildings and vehicles
• Assisting with basic building repairs
• Supporting security procedures for building access.
• Operating cleaning equipment handling trash removal maintaining restrooms managing inventory of supplies
• Performing light preventive maintenance tasks such as fire extinguisher inspections and equipment checks.
• Compliance with all safety security and quality standards is essential
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Willing to work second shift - 12 : 30PM to 9 : 00PM. M-F .

2 Years minimum experience in janitorial services

Potential candidates would preferably have background cleaning in government facilities .

Clean driving record

Ability to obtain Security clearance

Ability to read write and speak English

Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff

Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines i.e. vacuums floor scrubbers / buffers etc. as well as use common hand tools

Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheet

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies

Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions

B asic technical abilities to send emails and use CMMS WO system

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
