Shifts- Days 6am – 6pm / Nights 6pm – 6am

Pay Rate :  $15.50 hr / $17.36 hr

Job Summary

Performs routine tests and analyses to ensure products comply with established specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Completes record of inspection results, acceptance, rejection, and disposition for entry into logbooks or computer databases.

Measures the parameters of the product, interpreting and ensuring conformance to the specification limits.

Performs package inspection for quality specifications.

Performs audits of process and finished goods.

Communicates all deviations.

Performs all work with adherence to safety procedures.

Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives.

Required Experiences and Qualifications :

High School Degree or equivalent

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment

Proven superior attention to detail

History of following policies and procedures

Equipment usage and abilities needed :

Personal Computer, Printer, Telephone, Copier, Microsoft Office products, LIMS Software

Other :

Panametrics, Lensmeter, Comparator, PIT, CT gauge, CLOVER system other (new) inspection devices as required. Visual lens inspection certification / experience
