Join our team as an OB Tech! As an OB Tech on our team you will assist in smooth daily operations of the Labor & Delivery Recovery and Postpartum unit. May perform direct and indirect patient care including vitals hygiene measures and basic care for antepartum postpartum and newborn patients.

OB Techs functions include :

• Assists with vaginal deliveries under the direction of a Registered Nurse and provider and within scope of practice.
• Functions as a Scrub Tech for surgical procedures.
• Maintains supplies and equipment on the unit.
• Assists with maintenance of Point of Care Testing and High Level Disinfection equipment.
• Performs clerical and business support tasks as assigned.
• Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
• Previous Scrub experience required- 1yr min
• Previous experience with OB procedures highly preferred

15 LDRP Beds 3 Triage Rooms 2 OR Suites 5 NICU Rooms

80-100 births per month

Schedule : PRN-Night shift- Variable Days of the week per volume and current unit needs. TBD during interviews with unit Manager.

Per policy PRN requires a Min availability for 5 shifts in a 6 week schedule block and 2 holidays per yr.

Call not required but extra shifts may be available

Physical Requirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally and / or up to 20lbs frequently and / or up to 10lbs constantly)
