Summary : The Donor Relations Director is a highly relational passionate and knowledgeable fundraiser for MnTC . This individual serves as a spokesperson and evangelist for the organization to individuals families businesses and the greater community . The core purpose of the position is to attain new donors retain existing donors and encourage greater gifts to the organization with mid to major level donors in the Minneapolis area . This role is primarily focused on cultivating stewarding and soliciting this group while also utilizing expertise managing and collaborating on Development Projects Capital Campaigns and Legacy Giving.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

Donor Relations :

• The Donor Relations team has three parts : The Annual Fund leadership consists staff working with donors giving less than $2000 annually. The Mid-level manager works with donors giving between $2000 and $5000 annually. The Major Gift Officers work with donors giving $5000 or more annually. This position is focused on mostly mid and major level donors with a goal to attain new donors retain existing donors and encourage greater gifts to MnTC.
• Manage a personal portfolio of 200 individual donor households.
• Personally engage with assigned donors and businesses on a regular basis to educate them about the ministry and new facilities as well as deepen their connections to MnTC and express gratitude.
• Invite and facilitate visits and tours for donors.
• Create opportunities to ensure maximum donor participation in relevant MnTC events.
• Secure gifts for fundraising goals and capital campaigns and legacy giving.

Target Compensation (Negotiable based on qualifications) :

$80000 to $88000 annual salary
