Now hiring full-time or part-time Emergency Medicine physicians for OakBend Medical Center's (OBMC) ER campuses in Richmond, Texas. OBMC has two (2) hospital-based EDs in Richmond and one (1) ER in nearby Wharton, TX.  By cross-credentialing at 3 area ERs, scheduling flexibility and options are extended for the ultimate long-term group practice experience. OBMC provides care for all ages and proudly offer no-wait ER services.  These are Lev 3 and Lev 4 ER with most medical specialists represented.

Emergency Department :

• 16,500 Patients per year
• 45 patients per day (2 Pts. / hour) - 15% admissions rate
• 16-bed ED
• APP Coverage 56 hours / week (Noon to 8PM)
• 24-hour physician coverage; shifts 7A-7P; 7P-7A
• Hospitalist station is convenient adjacent to the ER.
