Occupational Therapist - Birth to 5

Location : Leonardtown, MD 20650

Position Type : Full - Time | 35 hours per week | Onsite

Contract Dates : ASAP - July 31st (stretch calendar)

Grade Level : Birth to 5 years old

Salary Range : $65,000- $80,000 (annualized salary)

About the Role :

AnthroMed Education is partnering with a school district in Leonartown to hire a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students aged birth to 5 years old for the 2025–2026 school year. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative and encouraging district with staff that is invested in your success.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct therapy services to students

Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development and implementation

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers

Help students improve fine motor skills, self-care, sensory processing, and classroom participation

Maintain documentation and progress monitoring

Position Details :

There is a north team and a south team. Each team has multiple clinicians and splits about 120 kids

Each clinician is managing about 20 families at a time

Students have IFSPs

Seen at varying frequencies

2x per month

1x per month

Some visits are done as cotreatment with other disciplines

Experience with a reflective coaching model is preferred

Students on the caseload have a range of disorders and severity level, but clinicians applying for this role should be prepared to work with students who have more complex needs and medical conditions

Qualifications : MD OT License

Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Strong communication, time management, and collaboration skills
