Job Description

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Ames GI office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include : Patient care including rooming, phone calls, MyChart messaging, medication refills and prior authorizations.

Education

  • Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants

Certification / License

  • Certification or registration from an approved certifying for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA).
  • Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
  • Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.

    • Days : Varied Days Monday - Friday.

    Hours : 8 AM - 5 PM

    Experience

  • Previous clinical nursing experience

    • Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
