We have many open needs for LOCUMS Psychiatrists ONSITE for a Correctional facility in Stockton, California. The Psychiatrist will provide extensive psychiatric services and work in a review, evaluation, or consultative capacity.

$290 an hour

12 month contract for LOCUMS 1099 that will extend

Schedule is 3 or 4 ten hour day shifts Mon - Fri

Meet with mentally ill patient-inmates for crisis interventions, face-to-face interviews, etc.

Conduct mental health evaluations including criminal, psychiatric, and substance abuse case history to assess inmate’s current needs and make treatment recommendations.

Qualifications

Current clean CA MD / DO License (or license in process)

Current DEA Certificate

You must be board-certified or board eligible

MUST be able to speak and understand oral and written communication and write effectively in the English language.
