Material Handler

Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Material Handler for a company based in Baytown, TX. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for operating large capacity forklifts, overhead cranes, bandsaws and side-loaders. Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate :

Starting pay : 1st shift $17.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours : Monday – Friday

1st shift :

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities :

• Loading and unloading tubes.
• Identifying damages, and quality deficiencies.
• Secure load before transport to ensure safety.
• Operate the assigned lift safely and efficiently.
• Able to efficiently work well with others.
• Perform routine inspection and schedule maintenance or repairs.
• Adhere to safety standards, maintaining a safe, orderly environment.

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications :

Proven experience as a side-loader forklift operator heavy duty capacity.

Proven experience in moving tubes or pipes.

Willing to be cross trained in other areas.

Strong attention to detail.

Knowledge of industrial equipment.

Excellent coordination and good physical condition

Able to work in extreme temperatures.
