Title: IT Logistics Coordinator
Shift: am-pm Central Time Zone
Location: Richardson, TX, Hybrid Schedule
Compensation: $ hourly
Duration: +months (Potential contract-to-hire)
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Manager Notes:

• This role is centered around the shipping and tracking of IT Equipment
• The ideal candidate will need to be familiar with the various types of IT Equipment being shipped out to the various locations as well as have a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with MS Office including Outlook, Teams and Excel is needed.
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems will be needed

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage the coordination of outgoing and incoming shipments. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies efficiently. The ideal candidate will excel at working with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and accurate shipment management.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling of shipments, ensuring timely delivery and return of goods.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align on shipping timelines and requirements.
• Proactively monitor shipping and receiving tickets for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing updates and responding to inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain organized records of shipment schedules, tickets, and correspondence for easy tracking and auditing.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and any relevant shipping regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external partners, maintaining professionalism and urgency in all interactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience in logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, or a related role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot and correct discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for timely internal and external correspondence.
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems, shipment tracking tools, or logistics software.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Computer hardware fundamentals
• Familiarity with shipping regulations and best practices.
• While they don't need to know "IT " specific "hard skills ", they do need to know monitors/docking stations, etc. and know their models would be good as well but not required.
