POSITION PURPOSE :

The Project Engineer will assist the Construction Manager and Senior Development Staff with day-to-day tasks in Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC), which may include but is not limited to : tracking and monitoring progress; managing submittals, RFIs, schedules, contractors, vendors, permit coordination, construction & contract documentation, etc.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan required to complete the project.
• Facilitates and contributes to the development of project plans and designs.
• Assesses the competence, capabilities, resources, and financial status of vendors and contractors.
• Supervises progress of development project and prepares weekly and monthly status reports for senior staff and off-takers.
• Compares and tracks the actual cost of development project to budget.
• Assist in management and oversight of consultants and contractors.
• Assist in management of QA / QC process, commissioning, inspections, signoffs, punchlists, and closeout documents.
• Assist in management of energy regulatory approvals (CUP, CAISO, FERC, NERC, CEC, EIA, etc.)
• Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Actual base salary considers several factors, including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. This role is eligible for bonus pay in addition to base salary. The anticipated base salary range for the position in Fresno, CA is $90,000 - $120,000.
