Security Officer - Patrol Unarmed

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your high visibility and commitment to excellent customer service will make a difference every day. This is a driving post, so you will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and protected atmosphere while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability.

What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the healthcare location's needs.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the protection of property and assets.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and / or credentials as required by site-specific policies.
  • Collaborate with staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid commercial drivers license is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
