Job Title :

• Electrical Engineer Dept: Engineering Reports To : Director of Engineering Classification : Full-Time, Exempt Location : Fort Lauderdale, FL Linked to Field Operations, Preconstruction, and Project Management LPL Solar is a self-perform construction firm focused on building large-scale solar projects (think > 700 football fields minimum) for utility companies and Independent Power Producers (IPPs).
• Our management team of industry leaders and experts have a combined experience of 84GW of solar experience over 650+ projects in twenty-one states and the Canadian province of Ontario.

As an Electrical Engineer with LPL Solar, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the EOR, in conjunction with the Project Management and Project Operations Team. Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Electrical Design EOR in conjunction with the Project Management and Project Operation Teams Optimize Design Solar Design Support the Construction Process through RFI and Communication with Manufacturers.
• Support the estimating team on as needed basis.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 3+ years of Utility Scale Solar design required.
• Required AutoCAD and preferred PV Case Experience, Required experience reviewing electrical plans from 10% - IFC sets, one-line diagrams, PPA review and coordinating compliance at interconnection point, Review operation and maintenance manuals.
• Experienced using PVsyst and reviewing EOR PVsyst output.

Education and Experience:

• Preference is given to candidates with BESS design experience.
• BS in Electrical Engineering preferred.
